DOBUY Terms of Service
Commercial Operating Agreement for Buyers, Suppliers, Fleet Riders, and Enterprise Users
Effective Date: August 4, 2026 | Entity: DOBUY (Private) Limited — Pakistan
Welcome to DOBUY. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DOBUY web portals (store.dobuy.pk, vendor.dobuy.pk, rider.dobuy.pk, admin.dobuy.pk, www.dobuy.pk) and native Flutter mobile applications (Customer App, Vendor App, Rider App). By creating an account or transacting on DOBUY, you agree to bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Scope & Account Registration
DOBUY is a proprietary multi-role commerce, sourcing, and logistics operating system. Users register under specific roles (Buyer, Supplier, Rider, or Internal Operations Staff). You are responsible for safeguarding your account login credentials and for all activities conducted under your registered account.
2. Request for Quotation (RFQ) Negotiation Engine
- RFQ Inquiries: Buyers may submit formal Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to specific suppliers specifying target price per unit, required item quantities, delivery notes, and negotiation deadlines.
- Supplier Quoting: Suppliers respond to pending RFQs with binding commercial quotes, custom unit prices, and fulfillment timelines.
- Conversion to B2B Order: Acceptance of a quote by the buyer immediately converts the RFQ into an official binding B2B Order record initialized with items, total pricing, payment method, and delivery classification metadata.
- Automated Expiry: RFQs unaccepted prior to their specified deadline automatically expire via background scheduled jobs.
3. Delivery Classification & Dispatch Rules
Fulfillment routing is determined algorithmically by DOBUY's classification engine based on package weight and urgency:
- Heavy Freight (≥500 kg): Routed to commercial trucks and external partner logistics fleets.
- Scheduled & Cargo Shipments (50-499 kg): Assigned to delivery vans and platform fleets.
- Instant & Express Shipments (<50 kg): Assigned to express cars or motorbikes/scooters.
Riders and vendors must execute deliveries in accordance with assigned pickup/in-transit/delivered workflow states and upload digital proof of delivery.
4. Financial Settlements, COD & Commissions
- Vendor Settlements: Payout batches for delivered and payment-confirmed orders are calculated minus platform commission fees and disbursed according to agreed settlement cycles.
- Cash-on-Delivery (COD): Riders collecting cash on delivery must reconcile collected funds daily through the Admin Command Center COD module.
- Rider Earnings: Rider payouts are accumulated per completed order and settled to bank/wallet accounts.
5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
Users shall not upload fraudulent inventory listings, submit false RFQs, misrepresent package weights, manipulate location tracking data, or attempt unauthorized access to administrative RBAC modules.
6. Limitation of Liability
DOBUY (Private) Limited provides the platform on an "as-is" basis and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from vendor product defects, carrier delivery delays, or force majeure events.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through formal mediation or arbitration in Pakistan.
